Would be real neat if the carrot stopped murdering children though.

Would be real neat if the carrot stopped murdering children though.
Here’s the important part.
Certified transcripts of each day’s proceedings will be posted to the New York State Unified Court System’s press website by the end of the following business day, according to a Monday press release. Transcripts can be expensive and sometimes unavailable, depending on the location or particular court system.
Appreciate you taking the time, I’ve got some research to do!
Hey what are all of the logos there? I know almost all of them but I’m unsure on a few.
Watched beastmaster, purely because I had seen my Mum and older siblings watching it, and it looked pretty harmless at first glance, something like He-Man which I liked at the time.
I asked a bunch but was always told no, so one day I snuck down in the middle of the night to watch it, needless to say, it was not like He-Man.
I’ll be honest, I’m unsure how these things are related. That being said, I’m all for platform scrutiny, and I’m aware of this controversy.
Substack have since reversed their decision on this and have taken action against a number of Nazi sources, though I would absolutely agree that more could and should be done.
For what it’s worth, have you had a look at the deep dark areas of Lemmy lately? Many a Nazi and god knows what else over here too, unfortunately.
First let me say, thanks for taking the time to write this out, hugely appreciate you for that.
Will definitely look to introduce more studies that I can then pick apart, can see how that would help with length and substance. I’ve been trying to walk the line between being too academic and too, well, not. I always had the thought that a vast majority of people would likely turn off if they start seeing academic studies references and the likes. That being said, I don’t actually have the data on if that would be true for my readership, so it’s worth a shot.
Combining these is a great idea, I’m going to go ahead and do that now, thanks!
Have huge problems with removing “I” statements from my work, so it’s always great to have another set of eyes on an article, thanks for pointing this out. I think I need to start reading over my articles more as just an interested reader than as the author, once I’ve finished up and decide to publish something, practice makes perfect I suppose.
Thanks for everything here.
Appreciate you providing your perspective on this, and I tend to agree in some cases, having been the third wheel in a situation like that too.
You can dislike this woman and this iteration of ‘new labour’ for many legitimate reasons, but this isn’t one of them.
Thank you.
Hard yes, even with a small fine for failing to vote (£50-100) - With the caveat that spoiling the ballot/voting none of the above is also an accepted admission.
We need to start taking steps to reverse political apathy asap, this can be one of many.
If it’s presented as such, then I’ve no issue at all. Art can be cool, AI or otherwise, and I like looking at cool things.
Thank you for the kind words. I’m probably a little more pessimistic than you, but I’ll say I’m absolutely with you on hoping that an incoming labour government, even if it’s more right-wing than I would prefer, would be good (Or at the very least ‘better’) for the UK. Time will tell, I’m sure I’ll have more to complain about.
Well spotted on that error, fixed it now, appreciate it!
Unsurprising considering Labour has lurched largely to the right following defeat.
That’s not to say they are now right-wing but it’d be pretty accurate to describe this iteration of Labour, Starmer’s vision of Labour, a centrist party.
130 is more than they deserve.
Hopefully they decide to support PR voting off the back of this, I’m not ‘too’ hopeful though, would be quite unlike them to do something that actually benefits the electorate.
That hacker news bit got me, I won’t lie.
Moderation log is public here - the reasoning you’re looking for could be in there.
Be the change! On a real note though, I feel your pain.
Hey, thanks!
And you’re pretty spot on here, unfortunately.
Welcome!
I also moved over from Reddit, some time ago now, Lemmy is great if you don’t mind it being quieter and you’re not into super niche things.
If you are into super niche things, definitely make those communities and begin fostering growth by posting, it’s what I’m doing for my home country of Wales, slow but steady and all that.
Hope you enjoy Lemmy!
