I wouldn’t call B1M in depth…
Is combining microwave rice and a frozen meal portion cooking then? Or to they have to be heated together?
Scotland has “right to roam” legislation though, so there are a lot more places where you are not actually trespassing.
I bought my last phone mostly on it having (arguably) the best camera (without buying a camera phone).
Why would I want a worse phone? If it needs a bump it needs a bump.
Depends on the bump I guess
Depends on the bump. I like the pixel camera bump as it goes right across the phone. It’s therefore stable on its back.
Still think the bump on the pixel 9 looks awful though, prefer their old style.
Going to bed early enough that your actually awake before your alarm really makes mornings easy. I didn’t used to be a morning person but I kinda am now!
The next question does then become - how do I make myself go to bed at a sensible time?
It probably happens already with some web-serials
I second the couch to 5k comments. Additionally, If you have a parkrun (or international equivalent) give that a go for motivation and to help see time gains - they allow walking so you can do walk/jog intervals.
I do want to ask though - why the hour between getting up and running? I (generally) recommend against running after eating. Get up, go for a run, then eat/shower etc after
I was going to respond, but you did way better than I would have!
In that case, the entire windows ecosystem collapses when Microsoft messes up windows defender… at least if its spread out it hurts less people
Only ever had to make a locksmith claim on them (one of the extras I think?)
Thinking about it, I might be getting a substantial discount due to having a mortgage with them.
If only 2 stars stay away then!
Last time I asked about this I was told that the vertical style wind turbines have a lot higher wear/failure rate and don’t scale up as well.
Ok for small scale stuff, but not for your big, stick it on top of a hill or out to sea turbines.
I’m pretty sure it’s under £100 for a pretty high covered number. Check out Nationwide.
Oh, ok, that’s annoying then. One of those cases where it feels like the person putting the course together has never actually interacted with children?
Is the fact that C# produced executables also a problem? With python you can ‘protect’ non lab computers at the school by just not installing the python runtime on them. Teach them c# and I guarantee they will be making executables to cause trouble.
Generally agree with you that teachers should be able to choose at least one of the languages to teach. basic web dev stuff is probably pretty useful to them though if it includes JavaScript?
I leant from scratch as my first programming language in year 12.
They tried to teach OOP in year 13, but I didn’t really get it until university.
This was years ago at this point, I think they introduced the programming GCSE the year after I did my A-Levels.
A scripting language like python is the ideal language to start with because you can JUST learn the programming bit without worrying about OOP, project structures, compiling etc.
Lots of us have the experience of being the kid in that situation though. I learnt python in secondary school.
I learnt to program in python (in year 12). It was pretty good:
She was one of the people I mentally considered immortal. She has been ‘old’ my entire life.
