That’s crazy heat. Can’t imagine what basically 50C feels like
Yeah I noticed that. This is the second day in a row I’ve seen a post like this
Both. For a couple years it was definitely all day but through college it was just in the evenings. The mental effects were a lot worse when it was all day but I noticed it still when it was just evenings.
I’d agree weed is the healthier choice but I don’t think it’s fair to say it doesn’t affect the day to day. I used to smoke everyday and it really messed with my short term memory and sleep.
I think it depends on the workplace. I usually take around 4-5 weeks off a year but my manager is chill. I could see a bad manager rejecting most of your vacation time
Axing the (carbon) Tax will surely help
I used Memmy up until development stopped and now use Voyager. It feels the most like Apollo did so it’s got my vote for best app
They have the paper lids in my city and they’re really not bad. I hate Tim Horton’s but I was actually impressed by the lids. They definitely hold together well
I genuinely can’t tell if this is satire or not
Not exactly a fair answer but Red Dead Redemption 1 remastered runs a lot better (60fps) on PS5 than playing the PS3 version via PSN streaming
Yeah, fair. I haven’t met a single American tech worker here 😅
From what I remember, Canada did implement a digital nomad program aimed at tech workers at the start of the Trump presidency. I’m not sure how successful it was though
Niagara falls in Canada already declared a state of emergency and Kingston is expecting to see 3x the normal population visit during the eclipse. It’s going to be absolutely nuts and I feel for anyone living in a city like that.
From my experience, companies would rather just pay for a commercial license. Anything abnormal gets trashed and banned in my company.
I think it’s more easy to understand “pay exactly this amount to use commercially” than the legal and accounting teams trying to work out how much to pay when you say 1% of their revenue to FOSS software. You can always donate the profits anyway
Another article mentioned that there was yelling from the police saying “drop the gun” so she may have actually been carrying a weapon.
I’d love skylines 2 if I could just play it above 30fps on low graphics. I know I’d get a higher performance if I wasn’t playing it in Proton, but still. I have an RX 5700xt, it shouldn’t be this bad
I’ve loved the coverage of reddit from tech news sites. Pretty much all of them sound like the authors are also disgruntled users. It can’t be good for reddit’s stock price (even if it’s up at this moment)
As much as I would love that, companies won’t do it unless there’s a cost efficient, easy alternative.
Don’t let perfect be the enemy of good, etc
Oh yeah, for sure as an answer to the OP question, but I’m still curious about their decyphering ability
That’d be nice wouldn’t it? I live in Centretown but even it makes me feel like I’m still living in my small hometown. Ottawa’s not a huge city but things should be open later, even on Sundays damn it
