This made its way into my YT recommendations and I watched it because… boredom. But I really want to try tis switchel thing.

Yes yes, vim good, nano bad. And rather than have discourse on the matter I’ll call you all fascists and claim you support genocide. Definitely an adult thing to do, good job you.
Nothing, there is nothing wrong with nano. There are what I will call vim purists who think using anything but vim is sacrilege. I’ve been using nano, and it’s predecessor Pico forever and while I can use vim if I need to, I don’t hate myself enough to do so.
Nvidia, wayland issues aside is still the superior card 9/10 times. This isn’t a gimmick to get people to buy Nvidia, most of us will buy it anyway. During my last purchase as I pondered over whether I should get an amd and move over to wayland or an Nvidia card that would allow me to locally generate images of whatever I wanted. It was a pretty easy decision, I’ll stick to X11 and Nvidia until the end. Stuff like this is just a bonus
Yea, half the conversion guides I read yesterday mentioned reinstalling grub, I don’t dislike systemd boot personally but I just thought it was funny
Dunno, I used to run 3 monitors until I got an ultra wide, now I’m down to 2. Never had any issues getting the displays to work in either. It was mostly graphical glitches and screen tearing that drove me back to X11.
I thought Endeavour was just Arch with an installer. Conversion is as simple as swapping repos and removing the eos-hooks package apparently, and depending who you ask: cleansing systemd from your system.
I just switched to Endeavour from Manjaro when I upgraded my hardware, and every update changes the default kernel on the selection screen. I go in and edit the file to change the default from lts to the latest kernel, and the next update switches it right back. It’s maddening, i could do Arch, and I’ve done it on other machines I just don’t have the time for that level of customization. I already waste enough time tinkering.
He’s only the second person I’ve seen to claim working dual monitor on wayland with Nvidia. All my attempts have lasted 5 mins max before something drove me back to X11.
Found this last week, makes running external programs much easier.
You’ll wanna use PowerShell. It has its eccentricities when running programs but is a more shell like experience
Not in the US, but production is limited and there have been pretty bad shortages in Canada and Australia. They had to put an export ban on Ozempic because so much of it was being sold to Americans, in Canada we pay $160US, while the same box sells for $970US in the states.
Im a diabetic, and earlier in the year we had a hard time getting it due to all the off label use.
Woah, that was alot. It wasn’t my intention to downplay your efforts. I was just trying to figure out how you were paying $650/month in a Country where it costs $220-280 depending on the pharmacy. There is no place in this country where you should be paying that much, my questions were asked so I could figure out if you were taking an off label dosage.
I don’t give a fuck about your small dick, or your exercise routine I was just interested in your dosage and why you were paying so much.
Congratulations on doing well on Ozempic, very few stick with it over the side effects. Friend of mine just got put on it, 4 weeks of 0.25, 4 weeks of 0.50 4 weeks of 0.75 and only then will he get 1mg. Alot of people don’t do well on the drug. I’m sorry I came off as a dick I just didn’t want you to be scammed. $650 is inline with what Wegovy will sell for in Canada when available this spring. So I thought maybe you got it early. My apologies for any offense I caused
It’s been approved since 2021 just not available, much like Mounjaro is approved but only available in vial form. Mounjaro is the superior drug but since you have to inject via syringe less people are opting for it.
If you’re on 1mg you will plateau, weight loss was a side effect of Ozempic, 2.5mg was the magic number for consistent weight loss. I heard they had people on 3mg during trials but the side effects outweighed the benefits.
I think you mean Wegovy, because I pay $220 for Ozempic at Costco, coworker pays $280 at SDM (Loblaws gotta take their cut)
Rybelsus the pill form of Ozempic is more expensive but I heard it’s in the $400 range similar in price to Mounjaro.
You’ve gotta be on Wegovy
Edit: Also based on your replies below you’re losing too much weight for it to be 1mg of Ozempic. Sure you lose some weight at 1mg but after a couple months you plateau and some of the side effects you describe are more inline with Wegovy. I’ve been on Ozempic 3 years and it affects my life absolutely zero at this point. It keeps my blood sugar in the optimal range and helps me avoid the snack food aisle but that’s about it
Oh well if everything you do on your kindle is above board then I imagine it’s a great device. Having had my jailbroken kindle auto updated to the latest version without me noticing and with no way to revert it, it has left me rather salty about the device. It can still read epubs but it now only receives KFX files from Amazon which can’t be de-drm’d anymore.
Kobo is where its at, Amazon has locked down their ecosystem to prevent piracy. Which also made my paperwhite garbage. Unless you’re using Kindle Unlimited its not really worth going for kindle
ESET Endpoint, ESET used to be easy to pirate, box+Mara fix, then they patched that loophole and I was forced to subscribe to it (until I switched to Linux anyway) but I thought about putting eset on my windows VM and checked out the latest options for pirating it and I found out about ESET Endpoint which is self hosted antivirus for corporate environments. So we have pirates running their own Endpoint servers…virus definitions hosted by other pirates. That scared me a bit.
I made it last night, used half molasses half maple syrup. But the recipe I tried used lemon and I didn’t like the resulting flavour. Also the ginger we had wasn’t as fresh as I would have liked. I’ll try it again using a more traditional recipe.
