Yes, that is the point, Tesla.

Damn, that’s about six and a half hours of overtime every day for the entire month. That’s a whole extra job and change. This man had no time to do anything for himself unless it ate away at his time to sleep. Doctors already work ridiculously long shifts, so I guarantee he was sleep deprived. I’d kill myself, too. That’s no way to live.
I found it! I found the reddit post, and here is the other picture that was linked. It’s apparently a place called Carr Manor in Cripple Creek.
Edit: Here’s the site for Carr Manor, not sure which suite it is, though.
Another edit: Found it! Second from the bottom, the Governor Ralph Carr Suite. There’s even a third closer angle that confirms there is a door back there, but it doesn’t seem possible to isolate it so I can link to just it. Just follow the Carr Manor link above, scroll down to the suite and you’ll be able to flip through the photos, but it’s basically just the imgur photo taken from the other side of the couch.
Thank you for indirectly leading me to discover the book title “The Frugal Wizard’s Handbook for Surviving Medieval England”. Even if I never work my way to finding out anything further about this corner of literature, that title certainly tickled me.
The store I work at had a really good house brand flavour called espresso almond fudge. When the packaging changed, the name did too, and it’s never been on as good a sale again due to a lower price set also being introduced, so I don’t know if it’s the same anymore, but I loved it. It was similar to the Chapman’s cappuccino, but with chocolate covered almonds mixed in. God I hope for a good sale again.
Not me! I intend to be just as much a lurker as I was on Reddit!
I don’t have a source for it, but I recall hearing that yes, their eyes work at a different speed than ours, and that’s part of why cats and dogs are generally not so interested in TV. Unfortunately I don’t know what search terms might be useful here since I don’t know if this has a technical name, but something like “refresh rate” or “fps” might help in the search.
