  • Haven’t turned on my PS5 in a year. I’m not some revolutionary. I’m a person who quits a rigged game and I know bullshit when I see it. I don’t argue with myself or sulk. I quit immediately and find something that I’ll enjoy. No one is enjoying their PS5 the way they enjoyed gaming systems in the past.

Getting a system meant something. Now, it’s like a poor financial decision. The hardware is iffy at best and you know you have to hit a wall of subscription requests, ads, filling out forms, giving up personal information…and it never used to be like this. We’d rip open the box, slam a game in, and start playing as a group in the family room.

It’s not the same experience anymore. It hinges on addiction. What was once fun is now a dead social experiment. Look at gaming today vs the 80s and 90s. Depression and online gaming go hand in hand. I never gamed back then because I was depressed. It was fun and we partied over Goldeneye. What we’re experiencing today is harmful to people.

There’s definitely more to this story than we’re all privy to.

  • Agreed. People need to accept that the nation must fall before we, as people, can rise again. I do not know what the big deal is with moving on from something that isn’t working for anyone. It isn’t working for anyone except a handful of people and the entire world is so exhausted of the US.

What’s even more shocking to me is that we have not yet even come to terms with the reality that we are four distinct regions and each region is preventing the other from succeeding in their own way. Northeast, Texas through Florida, the west and the mid-west. It’s beyond obvious we are four different countries. Most land masses this size have much smaller countries and ours is simply unmanageable.

It will never recover. It can only become something else.

  • Lol. It never is.

Wtf is so confusing to everyone else though? Your wife beating neighbor isn’t suddenly going to see the light. That person gets just as many rights as the rest of us.

The system is broken. The US cannot stand as a singular country anymore. The world is always going to fight and it’s not always going to be our responsibility to police it. I don’t want to be Team America World Police. Let this place gooooooooo. Let these territories make laws that better fit their societies instead of playing two sides of the same coin for eternity.

  • Yes. I have extensive experience on seeing these systems implemented and I can back this post up. The camera’s analytical capabilities can be summed up as “whatever the camera captures, it looks for patterns in other camera’s footage and stores everything it sees.”

The cameras are deliberate in what they do. The system is specifically designed to track individuals, but also groups and this allows them to basically track everyone.

Is all the US government needs to do is put the faces from IDs to this tracking system and it becomes an instant hunting database. They can find any person across the United States of America in near real-time.

Its considered “crude” to them at this time because in rural areas, it’s only grabbing license plates coming and going but it’s expanding rapidly and every single local government has been on board with. Why? Revenue.

I’m not going to get into this too much but we tried offering non tracking systems that were intended for public safety. The local governments did not want them at all even though the camera system did a better job at its intention. The US government is filled with greedy people and they want everyone’s money. That’s why Flock is here.
