Yep give Nobara a shot if you’re going to reinstall anyways. Bet you’ll change your mind

Yep sounds like firewall issue to me. Allow the ports eric mentioned in his comment thru firewall and it should work
Thats nuts
Seriously… enough of this “oh well its not that bad, atleast we can still do this, or that. Maybe blockers will work but with less features, etc.”
Fuck that shit
The extra [API] functionality already allows uBlock Origin on Firefox to work better than the Chrome version.
Always has been.
Tired of getting fucked by chr0me and g00gle? Stop spreading your cheeks and just use Firefox (librewolf, mull, et. al.) and uBlock Origin.
Simple as.
Seems to be doing it in the relevant community in an unobtrusive manner… I don’t see an issue with getting the word out like this to like minded people
I was looking at these too a couple days ago but cheapest option is like $500USD without batteries, camera, radio controller, etc. Half of them are so expensive you have to call for a price and shit.
Not exactly beginner pricing IMO when you may just crash it anyways
np, glad it helped
Pick up some lactic acid from a u-brew/wine store if you want that tangy cheese flavour in cashew cheese. That made a big difference for me.
One sticky point that took me a bit to clue in to was you need to login to an x11 session not the default Wayland. Unless sunshine has been updated to support wayland, this was about Feb I discovered that.
To change just log out and select x11 in bottom left corner of the login screen. Dont forget to switch back next time if you arent using sunshine
KISS launcher on minimal mode with nice icons and a geometric weather widget for me. Been rocking it for years and its amazing
Check out logseq for journaling. You could easily make a #mood page/tag and it auto organizes it for you
Having tried both popOS and manjaro I’d urge you to skip my trail and error and check out Nobara from the get go. Always found little naggling issues until I found Nobara
I do this and would not recommend for someone with arthritis. You have to have a strong grip to keep the hand grinder from spinning
Its not unheard of to have underground walking tunnels in cold cities connecting buildings and areas, but I haven’t heard of any expanded to support biking.
University of Calgary has a bunch of them if I remember right, can get all over the place underground when its cold AF out.
So fuckcars but only when its sunny?
Frozen North checking in, just passed 1 year car-free biking everywhere, rain, sun, or snow. No such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing.
And people that are too used to being comfortable all the time.
Sad, no mention of direct action.
If you actually want to accomplish anything that’s the only way it seems. Protesting isn’t doing shit. Voting isn’t doing shit. You have a presidential candidate (who may win) begging for bribes from oil companies in public!
All those guns in the States yet no oil execs heads go pop. SMDH
Probably need to uninstall the xone driver you already installed from that link. Then open the welcome screen again (super key + type welcome, should be there) and there’s an option to install the xone and xpadneo drivers already setup for nobara on one of the tabs there.
Since you already have a pixel you should seriously look at grapheneOS.
Sorry for the late reply. Used can be a great option if you find stuff in good shape. Ya, for your use where you’re finding it sweaty doing an activity like biking or hiking where you will generate heat, I cant recommend the 2.5 layer/3 layer fabrics enough from whatever proper sailing or outdoor company you like. There’s always a trade off in moisture resistance vs breathability and when you are generating heat you need to be further towards the breathability side of the scale which is where these fabrics shine. Will they last as long as a heavy non-breathable jacket with 100%PVC bonded to 400g nylon? No. But as you’ve discovered having a jacket that lasts a long time doesn’t do you much good if you end up soaked from sweating in it all the time.
I have a breville bambino plus for the past 3 ish years which also uses a thermoblock. I like it. Lower power draw at idle, no preheat, works like a charm IMO.
