In your description I saw you thought the magnets were a bit too strong and it gave me an idea-
Why not enclose them in the print? Maybe take sheets of paper and layer them up until the magnet strength is how you like, measure that with calipers, and use that to determine how many print layers you’d need to make solid over the current magnet insets.
Sometimes I bulk out my shakshuka with another great pantry staple - lentils. And a little more involved for this thread but mujadara is another great dish that’s primarily pantry ingredients plus onions. But I almost always have onions on hand and they keep so I give them a pass
