I’m simply stating what I see and that it’s disappointing. Not sure how that can be seen as cynical or pessimistic
I have to agree. Especially with that last one. The amount of cynical and/or pessimistic people on here making up a strong vocal (hopefully) minority is really disappointing
That’s not exactly what I mean. They’re specifically referring to parental controls in iOS 16. On iOS 17, for me, the entire menu is broken
I can definitely see where you’re coming from and agree to a point. But I have to say, I definitely do like these icons as well
In safari, I can’t recommend the fizzy water bundle enough (extension) or at least baking soda (which comes in the bundle). The extensions are super cheap and are well worth it imo but one of the features of baking soda is to stop videos from auto playing
I think Mlem is on track to be better than Apollo was at this rate. You gotta remember, Apollo had been released and in continued development for years. Mlem is around 2 months old
I couldn’t load anything on Mlem for a few minutes but other than that it’s just been slow for me
Thanks mate!
Aw, dang. That’s annoying
Why don’t you just back things up through iCloud or Google Drive?
Oh, so it is. I have a separate update. My bad!
This actually came out a few days ago. Changes include:
Yes, there is a new information button in Music that lets you see all the people that worked on a song. There are design changes in the mental health part of health, and a few other tweaks
Give Mlem a go when you can (I think the TestFlight is full)! It’s just like Apollo but with lots of little improvements that I would’ve loved in Apollo. And it’s built with all the new Swift UI features rather than having a mix of UIKit and Swift. Although it’s missing a few features while it’s in development that should get added soon
I’m a Mlem guy myself. I like a well designed and native (Swift on Apple platforms) UI. I’ve been absolutely loving it! I can’t say I used Liftoff for very long when I was testing as I ruled it out due to its non native UI relativity quickly haha. But as far as apps go, it looked alright. Just not for me. It sounds like there are many out there loving it (Liftoff)!
As of right now, yes. That is correct. Your best bet is to go manually upload images to a hosting site such s Imgur and add the link to your post in the links section. That will format everything properly and is actually how other Lemmy apps are doing it right now, it’s just not automatic on Mlem right now. The devs have however said that they’re working on adding the functionality so it should be added pretty soon
It doesn’t look like I actually have the permissions to assign issue to people or add labels. I even thought I was just missing something and looked at GitHub’s documentation to see how to do it and the button wasn’t there on my screen. But I submitted the issue and tagged you. Hope there’s a bit in there for ya. And thanks for making such a great app! I’m loving it on my Mac so far too
Wow, this works great! Sorry, I don’t use GitHub very much haha. Where do you want me to report issues? Should I just post them as an issue on the main page or is there a specific iPad version I should use?
I don’t see what’s wrong with having the option. If it’s a setting, then people like you don’t have to turn it on. And people who want to see the main part of an image on their smaller display can so that too. It’s a win win
