  • It really depends on how you define the term. In the tech world AI is used as a general term to describe many sorts of generative and predictive models. At one point in time you could’ve called a machine that can solve arithmetic problems “AI” and now here we are, Feels like the goalpost gets moved further every time we get close so I guess we’ll never have “true” AI?

    So, the point is, what is AI for you?





  • lemmy has completely replaced reddit for me ngl, it’s pretty much the same experience, for me at least, and I actually like it here more, people are more engaging and I got 100+ upvotes on a post for the FIRST TIME!

    honestly I don’t see myself going back, I will miss finding a niche sub and having enough content there for me to scroll for hours but hey, we’ll get there too eventually!
