If I were to misunderstand what you just said, would it be my fault or yours?

I’m not responsible for your’s or anyone else’s reading comprehension.
I said nothing of the sort. I was responding to the OPs question.
If it’s beef, they why have their chicken nuggets also doubled in price in the last couple of years?
It’s right fucking there at the beginning. They’re suing Tyson chicken as well.
Dude it’s literally right there at the beginning of the post
The fast food giant is suing the U.S. meat industry’s “Big Four” — Tyson, JBS, Cargill and National Beef Packing Company
Haha, weird.
I’ve had that happen a few times recently (wrong comment replied to) and I have no idea how it happens. For the upvotes… well it’s either there’s too many Lemdiots on this platform, or bots (oh noes!).
It’s a typing speed problem. The left hand hitting the 4 was too slow/the right hand jumped the gun on typing the first 9.
So, definitely aliens.
A lot of the botting is just copy and pasting previous actual human topics and comments though, so they’re not really wrong.
Actual bot created content is pretty boring, and never “contributes” in a way that would make for a useful Google result. Your Google result may be a bot’s comment, but if that comment is answering a question of some kind there’s a 99% chance the comment was originally written by a human.

The thing that allowed the Democrats to switch candidates was that the Democratic National Convention had not happened yet, which is when the candidate is officially locked in as the party’s candidate on ballots for president.
The Republican National Convention was mid July. Trump and Vance are locked in. To swap candidates now would be considerably more difficult for them (not to mention having to fight against a self centered toddler that will refuse to let anyone other than him run).
Swapping out candidates would be good for the Republicans. The process of swapping out candidates would not be.
Trump’s most successful political method was that he changed lanes faster than anyone could keep up. It allowed him to control the narrative. You’re falling for the same tricks that won him the 2016 election. Don’t engage.
Just call them weird and move on.
“Sure is weird someone is thinking about school children’s genitalia instead of their choice of weapons for a school shooting, especially at a time like this.” Done.
You can make cherry juice, but presumably you’d do that by crushing the cherry meat to extract the juice. That’s different from how coffee is made. To create cherry coffee, we’d have to take the cherry pits, dry them, roast them, grind them, then pour hot water over them.
I’ve got a pair of vice grips somewhere in my flat.
It’s not even that big of a flat, and I don’t even have that much stuff. There’s no way I ever left the flat with them. Yet they’ve completely disappeared.
The cost of a .com Domain can be under $10/year
I just bought bitwaba.com for like 8.49 a couple months ago.
.com, .net, .org, and .social are called Top Level Domains
You can register a second level domain
(e.g. “google”, "lemmy”, “cnn”) with a specific TLD, resulting in a domain name
(e.g. “google.com”, “lemmy.social”, “cnn.com”)
And charge people for over the air software unlocking of features that are already part of the car but they “didn’t pay for” when they bought it.
My grocery store just changed from 6 registers + self-checkout to 2 registers + 12 self checkout.
And the register lanes used to always be full.
I do not look forward to going to the store now. It’s a mess.
Main one to me is you can’t have a grey area in between without black and white to compare it against.
What do you call Santa’s little helpers?

Supposedly one of the main draws for fahrenheit is that common cold temperatures aren’t negative, so this doesn’t address that part.
