“Ohh, I don’t have one of those”
Especially at the prices the bill comes out to be. I had a day years ago where my car was in the shop, so I used one of them to get lunch. A $10 sandwich ended up costing me $30, and some people do this every day. Fuck avocado toast (which is delicious), this is why people are broke.
Well, perhaps the wording should be amended to encompass all public employees. But that would require the law be rewritten by the people that benefit from it, so, yeah.
Uh, huh? I take some trips here and there, don’t work from home, but I’ve never had spiders make up a web between the tp and wall, and I live in the mountains where those dudes are everywhere.
I mean, you were given eyes for a reason. Also, how often do you go to the bathroom that warrants enough time for a spider to build a web??
So that means that I can engage in a a little tax evasion, as a treat, right?
On a serious note, from the article:
the law makes it a very serious crime, punishable by up to 15 years in prison, for a federal official to accept a bribe
Can we start actually enforcing this please?

Some of these are not like the others
There is a huge difference between a finely tuned V8 with an appropriate muffler versus a gas lawnmower, but to each there own.
Great username btw
I feel like at this point, all these lawsuits are for show.
Don’t tempt me with a good time
See you on ebay in 6 months
Also, can’t have the “wrong people” making money and gaining influence, especially on the world stage
Yeah, but to be fair to Cillian, I was more in mind of the character he portrayed in those movies and not the actor himself.
He reminds me of a dopier-looking version of Dr Crane from the Dark Knight movies.
I’ve set my VPN to Texas and Louisiana just to see what happens, but I sure as hell am not uploading a picture of my ID.
June to November iirc, at least for the Atlantic
Yup, they remove the particulate filter and DEF system to get those clouds. Arguably, those systems do hinder efficiency in the system, but at the cost of pollution.
I have a 2020 Ram 2500 for a work truck, and I’m constantly amazed how quiet and efficient this thing is for 8000lbs, even with all the emissions stuff in place. I wouldn’t remove any of it because I’m not about to be part of the problem as best I can, but it seems like manufacturers are starting to figure out a balance.
It gets more hate because it’s owned by a Chinese company that more than likely shares data with the CCP. I assume you live in a western nation, so it’s basically the result of propaganda. Perhaps it’s warranted, perhaps not, but that’s why.
It’s ironic because everyone flips out that China is vacuuming up information, as if the US government isn’t doing the same thing. If you think the US govt snoops that data only to keep you safe, I have a bridge to sell you.
