During the lockdown, they intentionally stopped using this system and loaned out unlimited copies. They didn’t just violate copyright in accident, they willfully and intentionally disabled their own systems designed to preserve copyright.

I’m sorry for what you had to go through, but we’ve advanced a great deal in the last 30 years with regard to social acceptance of homosexuality. Any time you have rapid progress on any issue, you’ll have people whose position changed dramatically in that time period.

Those people should be celebrated. Admitting you’ve been entirely wrong on a social and moral issue is very difficult. By continuing to villify those who change their position to join you in the fight you make it more difficult to gather support.

Or maybe the fact that his legal defense against trying to overthrow the government was that the President is immune from all crimes. His lawyers even literally said he could have his political opponents murdered, and so long as the surviving politicians don’t impeach and convict him he can’t be held liable for it.

They’re arguing a legal framework under which he can murder the opposition, and then kill anyone that tries to remove him from office.

No. I already bought it, and it’s not a consumable. If I decided I needed a new laser a week into ownership, it wouldn’t be because I was thrilled with that exact model.

I’m a white Christian man in Texas. I know I’m privileged and that that privilege often comes with ignorance, so I used to be really nervous about offending people inadvertently.

It’s laziness. Automatics are modified in a way that prevents them from being fully operational as a gun, but not for safety reasons.

I will never discuss politics at church in the same way that I will never discuss religion at a City Council meeting. Separation of Church and State is good for both institution.
