Children of Ruin paints a glorious picture of the possibilities.

I turned 54 this year and went to Legoland in Billund, 50 years to the month since I was last there. Found the exact same street model that my dad took cine film of.

Well, this was of its time, and tbh I was fairly surprised to still find it, but every time I hear about him, I’m reminded of that interview with his father, and this song.

I’m not your buddy, pal.
(that’s another way wars start)
That site stuck so many ads to my phone; I can’t get them off—what solvent should I use?
The comments so far have been far more helpful and informative than I was hoping for.

Yeah, I’ve booked flights and made sure to check / clear all the relevant checkboxes. They then dress this up as ‘important information about your flight’. If it’s that important, why is there still an ‘unsubscribe’ link???
I’ve been with Purelymail for years on several domains I look after. Not had a single issue. I went to them for pricing and simplicity but their privacy looks fine to me too.
Do know that internet use, like domain and VPN track, was too?

Anything with goldie doesn’t count, especially if it’s all goldie :). Ours ate anything we would eat plus grass, horse manure, compost, ring-pulls, socks, money, rat poison, and a football (whole). Those last two were a trip to the vet.

They seem to do more damage to themselves when falling over than actually inflicting anything on their opponent…
I’m from the north but live with southerners now. I grew up with dinner at noon (in school—dinner time, dinner-ladies).
We’ve now compromised on breakfast, lunch, tea, and on Sunday it’s a grey area between Sunday lunch and Sunday dinner depending on how much the schedule has slipped.

I’d say between 13 and 19.
They just edited out the wires. See !birdsarentreal@lemmy.world

You can easily diffuse that situation by hanging a tea towel around her shoulders like a cape and saying “look, now you’re Super Angry”

Five gallon buckets? Luxury…

Sorry to hear that. We had a problem with our solar inverter disconnecting because of over-voltage on the grid. All I could find on the generation side was a ‘general contact form’ on a website. I didn’t hold out much hope, but a couple of days later, an actual engineer called me to talk about moving the tap in the substation down, as there was so much solar generation in our area it was pushing the grid voltage up. He’d already sent someone out to check there was scope to move it and was calling to ask me to check for the next few days and to let him know. Not had any more problems since.
I’ve never been so pleasantly surprised by their level of customer service. My point is that it really depends on getting someone who (a) cares and (b) knows what they’re doing.

down the vena cavity to her heart
I’m not sure this guy is a proper doctor…
I don’t know tbh, but I’ve seen many lemmy posts with multiple images… maybe it depends on your client, or were you using the web interface?
But even a Dropbox or google drive wouldn’t have that level of scamware popping up all over the place.
