A year and a half back I was sent an email from Apex saying I was banned for hacking. I hadn’t played apex for a year and my account hadn’t been logged into during that whole time, so if they’re false flagging players that don’t even have the game installed then who knows that the fuck they’re doing in their anti cheat. They actually reversed the ban when I contested it though.

I can’t imagine the shit show it would be if that log4j vulnerability and software update hit Twitter in its current state. I could see shutting off all external web traffic until the overworked devs finish committing while being held up with a visa loaded gun pointed at their head.

Hackers is a great choice, it’s so cheesy but it just draws you in and completely suspends your beliefs. Every character is likeable and the lines are so well delivered, man now I got to rewatch it. Terminator 2, hackers, and Pokemon 1st gen probably made more SDEs than any stem outreach program.
