Thanks. Been trying to retire my age old PS6 portable app for ages, and want to move to Linux full time, but keep having to go back. GIMP has always been so frustrating to use. I install it, then run away after trying and struggling to do basic stuff.

Maybe Photogimp will get me there?

I actually just removed an old portable version that was just living rent free in my portable apps folder for years.

I have a Andoku, a sodoku game that was open source and had the perfect setup options for selecting and placing numbers.

It got sold, and new devs immediately added ads and broke everything. I think it’s some sodoku 3 with subscription options now. Been running it since probably 2013ish.

My SO and I play as a team across dinning tables in restraunts while we wait for waiters or food or whatever.

I run a matte screen protector on my S25. Installed it day one. Matte screens are great!

I was considering a nextpaper or ePaper device when I got the s25, but I wanted something more top of the line, but with a more paper like screen. I found the matte screen protector works great at softening the screen, making it more paper like, but the device isn’t low end, so I can throw anything at it and it just works.

I’ve had some rather disappointing experiences with lower end stuff.

Smaller? M3 is pretty small.

I have DuckDuckGo set as default everywhere (with all the AI n such turned off), and I only revert back to Google sometimes when shopping or doing deep research. It still just does some things better, but it’s worth avoiding if you don’t need it.

Naw, basically all major players changed their recipies over the last couple years. They are double the price, but have less chocolate, and more palm oil and other BS.

Stick with artisan chocolate, or, if you can, figure out which name brand chocolates haven’t changed their schtick yet. I think snickers are still the same, but don’t hold it against me if they aren’t.

99% of the internet is trash. Pages bouncing all over while loading, constant cookie or login popups (even with various blockers), links not connecting, old long outdated content being pushed to the front of searches, junk AI slop non-answers articles or marketing lists about a problem vs actual detailed answers…

Then there are all the various billing systems for various marketplaces, that all wanna require memberships for one time sales, before they tell you the shipping cost.

And so so much more.

It’s all heavily dysfunctional and lame and not user friendly at all anymore.

I don’t know when that was, but check out lower decks, prodigy, and strange new worlds. They’re all a bit different, but are definitely Trek. Strange new worlds is kinda Next Gen with a bit more modern humor and special effects. The other too are animations, but lower decks is very adult. Prodigy is probably more family friendly, but it was really good.

I wanted one for a camper, before they were released, but only if the cab could be opened to the rear…

I use a battery pump too, but have a manual in my trunk for backup. Never had any luck pouring a gas can–at least not since the 90s. The new fancy spouts make things worse! Plus those large cans are a bit heavy and awkward, especially when you have a wrist or back injury.

Fund tranfering should be a gov service provided at cost and maintained as a partnership between nations to make commerce easy for their citizens.

Profit shouldn’t even be a concern.
