Been using tachiyomi for years and its been great, maybe I should give a try to aniyomi
The average playerbase of linux is still under like 2% so its understandable if they stop supporting it.
Also checked on protondb, and looks like runs great if you enable proton-ge, so you might still want to give it a chance
You can play most of them with proton, but some multiplayer games are impossible because anti cheats not supporting linux.
You can check your games at protondb if they run well, or have instructions how to run them.
Bethesda made mod workshop worked on the consoles, so you could share the pc made mods.
Small setback that it didn’t support script extender, so it was quite limited. Still better than no modding tho.
Bit late, but your last point reminded me about Foxhole, a top down war game, which have these mmo like bits, and also has a cyclic wars, but these don’t give any advantage in the next war.
I don’t play it, but the biggest downsides I heard are 1) losing ground on the battlefield (progress) while logged out, as you can’t help your faction while offline, and 2) the players working in logistics (collecting ores to craft supplies for the frontline) find that gameplay loop repetitive/boring, while its crucial for the faction victory.
I guess it makes sense this is one of the biggest hurdles in pvp mmo, since in pve mmo the enemies wait for you, and it isn’t possible to lose major progress, especially offline. (random thought: is Rust a pvp mmo? That’s kinda cursed.)
The other problem with cyclic games is the non existent progression, since things reset. Most mmo players do the 10+ hour grinds on quests for the shiny thing or the prestige titles, like getting lv99 in Runescape. Even in Escape from Tarkov at the end of wipe most players stop playing, since they feel it would be a waste of effort.
The idea of boons or things that carries over is interesting, but of they stack through multiple wipes there could be a super guild who gets an unfair advantage.
So yeah, surprisingly, game design is hard (also I dont have any gamedev experience, just like thinking about it)
Sadly the boomers are a minor faction, but if they did have an ending, it would be entertaining.
After hearing the release of Ac mirage, I replayed the og AC. Its quite fun, but some things didn’t age well (like the blue filter on the game).
Its funny how in “returning to roots” they took the worst parts of the game, the investigations. Which could work, but finishing thw tatget them 5 mins after meeting them is not great for characterization. The idea of doing more sidequest means more info for the finale of the chapter is nice, but most of the infos are really trivial, like “Guard gonna close the castle gate after alert” or that the scolars can get past the guard, which is the main way of getting into the city itself, and is also tutoriaized.
Theres some dumb shit you can do, my favorites were synchronizing while hunted, and the guards just stand around you on the roofs, dumbfounded, or fooling around in combat and realizing the hidden blade can instakill even after alerted, if they are on the ground or you are behind them. So its possible to run aroun 6 guards and backstab them one by one.
Maybe they are thinking about server boosts?
“So, you found some borders, buddy?”
Wait, wrong psychopathic pilot.
For how small the game (and the dev team), its surprisingly hits the level of much bigger titles like ace combat. And Jose Pavli has made a great ost, the violin motif in Calamity just hits right.
I always find the word “femcel” funny, since the word incel came from a woman describing her situation.

Obra dinn - Soldiers of the sea
Really good song of you like bells (its also a great game)
Yeah, the worst thing is in smal and slow communities your comment won’t get any replies, and the highest chance of reply is from the op, but if it’s a repost bot, there’s obviously no chance of that. Just have to hope for organic growth.
Also, there are hun communities? Never found any while on here.
Im sure we can squeeze an nft in there somewhere
Give anti tank crew weapons for kids. It saves their lives, also teaches them sharing and cooperation.
A friend of mine took their cat to the gas station, after refuelling the cat took a couple of steps and dropped on the floor. I was like “Damn, already out of fuel? What did you say the milage was?”
After everything in mystery of the druids, I wouldn’t trust a Brent either.
Link for this fascinating game
The most scary stuff is just not doing or experiencing anything after death, at least for me. (Probably the biggest fomo on earth)
BF players: yeah, they are good for gunshots, knife stabs, if blown up by mines, run over by a jeep or pulverized by a sabot round. And agains lethal falls.
