I think the whole world just adopt a single time. We’d just get used to midday being 9pm and eating dinner at 2am. No more time zones to worry about.

Summer would be the same as it now. It’s only winter where we’d have daylight starting later and ending later.
Love this thread. Here are some of my favs off the top of my head. My music tastes are all over the place.
That whole album is amazing.
I’ve used mixplorer for ages, its been great.
Edit: nevermind, apparently its not open source.
I was so excited when I discovered this app. To me it’s one of the most perfect apps. I wish I could use it on desktop.
Whaaaat! I had no idea. This is blowing my mind. I’ve watched this guy’s channel for years and didn’t know about this.
Trying this ASAP
Guest and private networks respectively: This LAN is your LAN. This LAN is my LAN.
Pomegranate and yogurt.
Xero shoes are popular and more reasonably priced though I have no experience with them myself.
Ugh same. I decided to upgrade my very uncomfortable sleeping pad recently which led me to the ultralight subreddit. I went from not having a clue how much my bag weighed to a 10lb base weight, tarp camping, a $400 quilt, 27oz backpack, making my own gear. I don’t even want to count how much I’ve spent in the last year.
I see no mention of what their fish are eating. One issue with farming carnivorous fish is that they need fish to eat and often that comes from fish pellets which are generally small fish caught in the ocean. So fish farming such as this ends up not really farming at all, but rather turning wild fish into farmed fish.
I’ve seen no mention of forest management in this thread. I’m no expert, and I realise this issue is a few concurrent problems, but it is, at least, partially Canada’s fault for allowing clearcut forestry methods on such a broad scale. Old growth forests are somehwat resistant to fires. The undergrowth burns, but many trees do not. The “forests” planted by the forestry industry are essentially monocultures and they burn hot and burn fast.
In 2017 I bought a ThinkPad with a hidpi screen, which I knew would give me trouble with Linux. Fortunately the Fedora 26 beta had just been released and was using Wayland by default (I wasn’t very Linux savvy to do it myself yet). I’ve been using Wayland on Fedora ever since without issue.
