Avatar is a lemming in bed because this account wasn’t intended to be used except for creating communities… and then my instance announced it was closing.
Outlook. It’s obviously shit but it notifies me of stuff which is all I need.
I even heard on the news unbidden that he had voted. I wonder who he voted for?
Yes, and you definitely used to be able to change the behaviour to stop it highlighting everything, as at one point that was doing my head in so I changed it. I find it easier now just to click twice, rather than trying to find a setting which stops it highlighting everything.
Yes, I think that’s probably how it worked.
My memory of token ring is vague, but I think it was originally a ring in series as you said - however token ring switches (that isn’t what they were called) also existed, which was the “modern” way of writing up a token ring network.
Or a Knighthood.
Unfortunately not. I’d like to, but as you say it’s not quite there yet. I probably should try it more frequently.
Also, Stract
If it’s all authorised like this, it is technically a legit transaction. Revolut should have flagged it up for review though as per the article. I think card transactions are a bit different, as usually they don’t need to be authorised in the app, but this sounds like he spoke to a scammer, transferred them some money, handed out a 2FA code (something which banks always say “don’t give this to anyone, not even us”), and then was surprised when lots of money was transferred out of his account. I’m not sure Revolut are at fault here (other than not putting a hold on the transactions when they started to look out of character, but honestly the account was compromised by then anyway)
“Oh, perhaps we could assign it to the actual Indian Ocean, as that’s quite a persuasive 💰 argument 💰.”
“… Or perhaps NASA would like to administer it on behalf of the aliens on Io until we make contact…”
Sounds like they just won’t be renewed when they expire.
“Happy”
Being overly fake nice because you want a tip. Tbh I’d be more inclined to tip you if you left me alone and stopped talking to me.
The whole tipping thing in USA is weird. Everyone wants a tip, it’s entirely random (as a non-American) how much tip to give. Just pay your staff a wage they can actually live on ffs.
Interesting, thanks!
Yes, it does. Without the plate you will get hot and cold spots where the waves interact. If you don’t have a rotating plate you should be manually rotating the food, unless there’s some new tech I’m not aware of.
Yeah the main instance is Chinese, there are English ones but not many. It’s still new.

I certainly started late with gamepads. Through most of my gaming years it was a combination of keyboard and joystick (and later mouse). I didn’t have consoles until the Wii, but I did get the Pro Controller after a while and got on ok with it.
And it’ll be smaller.
What I like with UK subtitles, is that different characters get different colours. With translation subtitles this never seems to happen.
