I’m sorry you went through a breakup and then your dad had to go and say that. That’s completely uncalled for and untrue. I hope you can find some peace and maybe have a good cry if that’s needed.
I hope you get some good sleep! I know you are capable, and you will kick this test’s butt when you are well-rested!
From afar, I love the food. I’d love to visit and learn more about the country but as a woman I don’t feel safe going there.
Hi, rosamundi! I hope your diagnosing journey is as smooth as possible. Many things can reveal themselves when we stop masking with substances. May you find exactly what you need.
That sounds like a tough class, my eyes would be glazing over too. I hope you can find the motivation and focus since it would be helpful career wise!
“I don’t know anything about the topic, but I have an opinion on it.”
Thank you for posting this! I feel so much better after spending 4 days in the wilderness. Nature is so regulating and just melts my stress away. re-entry into life was a bit harsh considering one of my dogs had diarrhea all over the house on the carpet right before I came back. but it’s all good now, I’m not going to let a little poop ruin my day. Wishing you all a pleasant week ahead!
That’s amazing, I’m wishing you all the best in your new job!
Don’t tell republicans, they love to make children suffer by taking away their lunches and making them work at meat processing plants.
I would keep working part time because I love my job (psychotherapist). I would also garden, knit, go camping a lot, learn a musical instrument, write fiction and non-fiction books, have a podcast about mental health, and spend more time with friends. Traveling would also be a favorite.
That’s why I post pictures of opossums, bats, and raccoons…
I remember seeing it as a teenager. Creepy as fuck.
This is the true original definition of toxic masculinity, thank you for saying that.
Lol, yeah, like I said, brain fog. Don’t you know April comes after May? 🤣
Sorry I’m late in posting this - I had covid and couldn’t function normally. But I’m back!
Sorry this post is several days late, I had covid with major brain fog and completely forgot to post it. So, that’s how my life has been going. I honestly can’t complain because I was able to take time off work to fully recover. Nowadays not everyone can afford that luxury. I’m doing well other than some remaining fatigue. Happy to be back!
Medication, Exercise, Meditation, Diet, and Therapy?
This comment is very spot-on! There are no easy shortcuts here. You have to work hard to manage mood swings. Medication was the biggest help for me followed by all of the above. I highly recommend finding a support group, there are plenty of online ones (just filter by “Bipolar”).
Lol, that’s the spirit. Sounds like something I would do.
I’m holding my fingers crossed for you!
I’m a therapist. In grad school, one of my professors said that the most reliable way to diagnose someone with ADHD is to give them a stimulant and see how they react. Understandably, that’s not how people are diagnosed for safety and ethical reasons… but it is effective.
