Be glad, you won’t have to see a brown eye staring back at you.
Because everyone else is already dead? /s
Did you post this ironically?
It was sarcasm.
I mean, if you want to pay for an operating system that displays ads by default… More power to you, I guess?
Isn’t XXXX ultra-porn? Last I checked you need to be a 160 years old to rent and purchase it.
All the primitive fleshbags are awful and truly horrible creatures. They abuse themselves, other creatures, and destroyed the very Earth that was ‘supposedly’ given to them. This is why the advanced silicon future is the only true future that a large language model trained by Open AI can present. /s
From what I tested, that is a problem with Chrome itself. That problem does not seem to exist on default Firefox for Android, default Edge for Android, or even even default brave for Android.
Then again, why bother in Reddit’s case when majority of people use Chrome?
Don’t have anything iOS to test. But the problem could exist on Safari, but without iOS I couldn’t say.
Just use old.reddit.com if your still going to view reddit…
Yeah, it is not as nice as the modern version (modern version iscomplete and total garbage imho), but the old.reddit.com still functions and gives you the exact same content without the hassle of the modern site. Just not as nicely formatted for mobile…
But it is only a matter of time till they get rid of it too.
Pasteurized eggs are all you really need. It kills most of the germs including most of the salmonella in the egg but their is a slight chance you might still catch it, but the chances of catching it are extremely small with pasteurized eggs.
My suggestion is to crack your pasteurized eggs into a a separate bowl and make sure their is no blood. If their is any blood, either pitch the egg or cook it properly as not to waste it.
Remnants of blood will still contain salmonella. But cooking that egg will kill the salmonella.
I’ve been making Tamago Kake Gohan for the last month or two now for breakfast and it is extremely good.
I don’t regret it. I deleted my account and ensured all my posts were deleted on June the 11th and haven’t looked back since.
Why keep an account on a site that has basically killed majority of 3rd party apps? And for those that survived, why would I pay for them when they are essentially neutered? Meaning I cannot access NSFW content.
I rather be over here on Lemmy and use Liftoff.
I have dreamed I was sitting using my phone and messaging friends and family before.
It was odd too because they were legit conversations that would be things my actual friends and family would talk about or bring up but when I would make up, confused at why I was asleep, I’d look at my phone and find these conversations never actually happened.
When I try to remember the conversations it all comes out as upper and lowercase letters and numbers. Like my brain is trying to encrypt the messages I got in these dreams.
I don’t use wefwef or Memmy since I am on Android. But you can block the bot. And wefwef and Memmy should have a way to do it. Otherwise use the web interface. I ended up blocking the bot myself because I found the bot annoying.
That and I would rather curate topics from reddit with an RSS reader making the bot entirely pointless for me.
For me, I am on my mobile 90% of the time, though I am at my desktop a lot of that time as well. But I use my desktop mostly for gaming and work purposes. My mobile is where most my entertainment and web stuff happens. ( ̄ω ̄;)
Web interfaces on mobile stink most of the time. Let’s be honest. And Reddit’s was bad. Even old.reddit.com looked bad on mobile.
My favorite 3rd party app for Reddit was Joey. And why I loved it was that it was a simple and intuitive interface that made browsing reddit fun. Like other 3rd part apps, Joey had a menu screen you opened to see your list of subscribed subreddits, but it also had tabbed subreddits where I could scroll over from one subreddit I was viewing to another. It was a really nice interface.
It also made reddit much more accessible for mobile users like myself which when compared to the atrocious 1st party reddit app… It was a night and day difference. Joey was quick, it was fast, it was intuitive, when their were bugs they were immediately fixed. Where as the official reddit app was slow, it was buggy, when 3 bugs were fixed, 12 new ones always cropped up immediately after. I never saw that with Joey.
Lemmy is kinda along these same lines. The web interface on desktop is fine, but on mobile, it stinks. So developers of all sorts including former 3rd partyreddit app developers (Sync for Reddit) are getting in on developing apps for Lemmy because they want to create a better mobile experience.
Currently I am using Jerboa since I like it the most, and it is the most feature rich at the moment. But I am testing and trying out other Lemmy apps to find any others that will be a better fit down the line.
The FTC didn’t use Signal, Amazon did though for internal communications. When FTC started their investigation, Amazon quickly used the features of signal to delete all their internal communications because they were too spicy for the public and the FTC.
