That looks like such a cool device! I’ve been wondering what to replace my 2017 macbook with in the next few years and it’s nice to see more options to consider. Maybe it won’t be a refurbished ThinkPad.
I only know this because there’s a mission in Watch Dogs Legion that’s inside it.
Good friends use Revanced patches to download tiktoks before sending them. Might even put it through ffmpeg to remove the music if it’s annoying.
As someone coming from Photoshop it’s really hard to get into Gimp with it missing the layer effects you’d expect, which you all have in Krita.
I’ve had this error upon random reboots after upgrading to Linux 6.8 on 5950x. Went back to 6.7.9 and hasn’t happened again since. What version are you on? Would be interesting to know.
No, third-party browsing engines are not a thing that’s been implemented yet, and might never be by Firefox. This is about a screen that prompts EU users to pick a browser rather than defaulting to Safari and leaving it up to them to install another.
Had the same thing with a Xonar DX, probably got some permanent hearing damage from that.
Including a direct link to the form in the very first sentence of the article is such a baller move by the author.
That’s funny that you mention hardware, cause in Germany you pay a set fee for each device (13.19€ for a computer, 6.25€ for a phone) on purchase since it could be used to create copies of media.
I’m just getting my money’s worth, officer.
I absolutely love the answers.
In ours we can send probes to confirm our observations, but the closest other star is so far away we’ll never even get 1% closer in our lifetime.
I’ve already gotten good answers to why this shouldn’t matter though.
Beeper’s backend is also fully open-source, there’s nothing stopping you from hosting your own iMessage bridge and accessing it via any matrix client.
It’s not documented directly since it’s done with Steam’s built-in controller customisation. Under desktop mode in Steam Settings -> Controller -> Desktop Layout -> Edit Layout – there are two Action Sets with the start button bound to switch between them on long press. You’ll hear a sound when it happens as well and the game will detect it as an Xbox controller.
This acts system wide as long as Steam is running but it won’t give you the per-application customisation you get by adding it to Steam.
my only complaint is that Steam Deck controller doesn’t seem to work automatically with Heroic games launched through desktop mode
If you hold start for 1 second in desktop mode you can switch between Desktop and Gamepad profile (which should just emulate a regular gamepad), assuming you don’t mean that.
Arch is focused on being cutting-edge and lightweight which happens to be perfect for gaming performance in most cases but that’s all.
I’m not particularly happy with the situation of PWAs on Android. Firefox, my browser of choice, is like 10 years behind in their implementation.
The only browser that integrates them nicely as a native app is the official Chrome browser (privacy nightmare) which does this by generating an APK on google servers and installing it (privacy nightmare^(2)).
Hopefully there will be a local solution for this in a FOSS privacy-respecting browser eventually.
It’s a music tracker + finder + social network. You can see how your taste changes over time. Personally my favorite feature is the weekly stats with a genre timeline.
I think it’s time for a refactor of my legacy code that deals with infinite timezones. :/
