Blockchains are used by banks and in the supply chain because it makes backtracing and identifying discrepancies trivial. For things like cryptocurrency, blockchains allow “don’t trust, verify” but for something where you already have trust, they allow “trust but verify”

Termux is already available on the Play Store, so I imagine it won’t be an issue. Sideloading will still be possible, it just requires developers give Google their private information (which is fucking stupid) but you already have to do that to be on the Play Store, so I don’t see why Google wouldn’t verify the Termux team.

As an older Gen Z, this generation is very split. The Gen Z in their twenties are extremely progressive and left-leaning, whereas younger Gen Z are deep in the alt-right pipeline. Obviously this doesn’t apply to everyone, but Gen Z really is two generations smooshed into one.
