You described most CA laws - don’t get me started on CARB and how is just pushing us toward bigger, less efficient cars while killing innovation by smaller engineering shops
You’re going to have to use an external service for email perhaps connected to something like Postfix or just using the email provider’s API - something else to think of if you just need something on your phone as a message / reminder is to use KDE Connect like in this tutorial https://doronbehar.com/articles/using-kdeconnect-to-comfortably-send-sms-messages-from-the-shell/
Got lucky as an early investor in crypto which has allowed me to feel more secure in taking on debt to purchase a home
Lol, “better integrate into society” says the province that refuses to integrate into anglophone society which is far larger and more important to international business.
Not familiar with the movie either but I have two friends that I talk to almost everyday besides my SO. We have a group chat (along with one friend’s wife) where we talk shit and catch up each day.
Where are you struggling to eliminate or reduce single use plastics?
My approach is I avoid buying things with lots of single use plastics in their packaging. If you shop Amazon you can opt to prefer paper/cardboard packaging (it’s not always used though). I use reusable or no bags at the grocery store. Don’t use straws or use metal / silicone. But that just scratches the surface of common sources of single use plastics - I’m also into 3D printing which can be a bear to reign in plastics use, luckily more companies are moving to cardboard spools for example.
US and international date standards all suck : ISO8601 on the other hand is beautiful

It’s less lifting and more just slightly leaning forward, definitely still sitting. I guess if one were larger that approach wouldn’t work? Not sure

To answer your main question, not that I am aware of. For WLED, are you using WiFi or Ethernet? I’ve heard from a lot of others that Ethernet and a beefier processor like an ESP32 (rather than an ESP8266) is a must if using WLED for reactive lighting like ambilight clones or xLights or anything near-real-time
Note that this will always be convex, if your 2d shape has “holes” you’ll want to get a bit more creative, I like to do a difference to create the “negative” as a 3D shape, do the same exercise as above but translate slightly higher and lower and use ‘difference’ to create your final shape
You’ll want to leverage hull! First linear extrude your PCB shape just to make it 3D, you can do something like 0.00001 then rotate to your desired angle. Make this a module then call it twice, once at wherever you want it and once more but translated on the z-axis by however high you want to “extrude”. Wrap these two up in a hull and you’re good to go!
Your comment above around Dobbs kinda proves otherwise and that’s a big part of the problem - the legislative branch has abdicated responsibility over the last ~25 years and have decided to instead politicize the judiciary so while the supreme Court has lost legitimacy in the eyes of many Americans, they unfortunately very much have the authority
After Dobbs you really think the SC is going to support your position any time in the next 20 years?
I mean, sure, if you ignore 200 years of judicial precedent and radically reimagine the definition of the 2nd amendment.
So instead of ignoring reality, how about we push laws that severely restrict gun ownership as that actually has a chance of passing and being upheld and maybe some new precedent gets set that allows more, similar laws to further reign things in
No man is an island and policies that aim to better the nation’s health are rarely for the benefit of the individual and rather are a way to benefit the masses by increasing productivity in the labor market, reducing healthcare costs, and generally making the nation more competitive on the international stage
It has virtually nothing to do with emissions (as if it did, they would just hook up a sniffer to test and be fine)- instead there are blanket bans on any modification not from Edelbrock or a s couple others unless those companies pay exorbitant fees to be “CARB-approved” which has snuffed out innovation from smaller machine shops. And the loopholes are what has driven cars to be bigger and not more fuel efficient
