They’ll get more votes but people are still going to vote strategically because what choice do they have.
Maybe, but our heads don’t need all that space to themselves. Room for 1.25
I have one colleague who does it and they work in HR. No one else does that shit.
I always thought of that site being more just pics and less comics/stories?
Side note, are there any hentai sites that don’t have loli content?
What have you tried w/ left knob?
I used a tutorial book to help me create a python text game, then I rewrote it and have been casually adding things. I sort of want to re-write it again in Java to see how it compares, I’m more comfortable with java so I’m hoping I could focus more on system design. I’m noticing that the more I add to the base game the more spread out my solutions become, so addressing that is the main interest I have with it.
A new project I’m working on is a simple web scraper. I liked building a lexer/parser in the text game and I think having my own web scraper would be useful.
I’m still learning so I aim for projects I can ‘finish’ in 2-4 weeks.
Oh and a windows notepad that looks like the windows notepad except more customizable. I like the idea of building utilities.
Damn that’s a lot more than I would think is needed. I think Craigslist had/has like 50 people so I figured you can still keep a business chugging along without a ton of staff.
This doesn’t work nearly as well as it did in the past. I don’t know the story behind 12ft, but they seem to be complying with any site which has requested it to not work on their articles.
I think that modern work is something done to us, as a form of violence. We’re told to go here, do this, and in return we get just enough to get by. Humans are definitely not lazy, but we do have a problem with slavery.
That seems like a lot to me considering the app could be put together by just a few people.
Oh dude you’re missing out.
Join .today or something, then use a tool to copy your subscriptions from ediblefriend@world to the new instance. You don’t get to see the Local feed from world, but All and Subscribed are the same. That’s it.
I’d say .world has been the most reddit-like for me. Overall it’s still good here but I’m also looking forward to it simmering down for a while.
I haven’t actually noticed hexbear at all and I’m on an instance that isn’t defed
That’s the goal. But I can’t reject the fact that I need to work. It’s gotta happen. And I also don’t want to be depressed all the time. My comment is kind of about learning how to keep doing what I need to do without being sad and or angry about it all the time.
I’ve always been envious of those people who grew up knowing what they wanted to do with their lives and then they did it. It seems like what we want is incongruent with what is available. It’s like they were born into something that was designed for them, but I think at least part of it is parenting and education. Doesn’t help that our world is kind of fucked up though. Hard to close my eyes to that and be excited about choosing a career. That and* we’re kind of serfs.
How I see this problem is that we aren’t given to tools to help us decide how we want to live our lives. Work sucks and is a waste of time. Contributing to society is valuable and something I want to do.
I’d say just smaller, less scripted content. Maybe that’s what tiktok is.
I feel like you don’t actually know that and it’s just your opinion.
Damn 19C! My apartment is 24 right now and it feels cozy. When I bake it gets to 27. Without heat in the winter it hovers around 16 inside.
I’d consider going somewhere with more extreme day/night cycles like the Northwest territories, but within Canada I’m basically happy where I am. I like the super long days in the summer and I’m also ok living in the dark most of the winter as long as I can stay active.
Villeneuve has been really disappointing. He was good with smaller, more gritty stuff but isn’t a good epic director.
