Came here for this. Cotton took over the world because it’s initially softer than any alternative. once linen or hemp wear in they are better but that can take the whole lifetime of a cotton garment and capitalism demands you buy more sooner.
I’ve recently in the past few years moved to bamboo socks, basically wool socks you can also wear in summer.
I’ve grown in the same direction and think it’s their best work but I can also totally see how people who liked the earlier stuff might fall off hard.

LineageOS wouldn’t run on a real nokia unless you’re talking about the nokia branded microsoft phones and they’re more like a 3d printed gun than an AK-47.

3·4 days agofunny thing about people, most of us don’t want to reinstall our bootloader every time windows updates. Putting aside windows fucking up linux partitions in other totally not intentional ways.
Win and Linux on separate drives, with no boot loader, using bios boot selector is the only way. Windoze has no idea it’s not the only OS on my machine.

it guesses the next word, that is literally all it does, it’s not trying to build a model of reality to more accurately guess. It has no fidelity and anyone taking it seriously has themselves failed the turing test.
