I would really like a community for Volkswagen cars with q&a on mechanical problems, tips etc so I can stop going to reddit

The easiest way is to setup tailscale on the server, then share the server with the web interface. Your friends/family simply install the tailscale client, login, and it just connects like magic. No port forwarding or firewall configuration required. There’s plenty of how-tos out there.
I’ve never seen one with 2 different sauces tho. Such a good idea
So why not just use the van? At least the cargo space is covered from the elements. Most people who drove these yank tanks don’t actually need the truck part.
One is a truck made for actual work and the other is an abomination pretending to be a truck.
This is exactly where I’m coming from.
I personally don’t believe in copyright. Nobody should be able to own an idea or data and be able to tell me what i can and cannot do with said 1s and 0s, which is what digital media is. I will find other ways to support artists and creators like going to concerts, donating or buying merchandise etc… You can’t steal data because nobody owns it to begin with in my view.
Anything confidential should be kept encrypted or offline of course.
If you’re getting protonmail anyway the bundle is worth it. You can use their client software or native wireguard. I personally use AirVPN, run by an activist group. Their website isn’t shiny, but the VPN works great and has port forwarding which is really good for torrent connectivity.
I don’t think with the Swiss privacy laws governing Proton you don’t have to worry about them ratting to Comcast
GrayJay just came out into the testing phase. It not only supportsYouTubee but also Nebula, Odysee, Twitch, PeerTube and a few others with more to come. Works great so far. grayjay.app. Built by Futo, a nonprofit company which Louis Rossmann works for. His video here
Where in the world do these things live? I’ve never seen anything like it before, and we have some pretty crazy things you can find in a house here in Aus
It defaults to the highest quality available. Tidal gives you a flac file
DoubleDouble let’s you download from all the major streaming platforms just by giving it a link to what you want downloaded
Cars=freedom
and we were also first in line for things like the COVID vaccine, because the companies could make so much of their profits here…
We were first in line because the US government paid billions to fund the R&D to get the vaccine out. Then when manufacturing started in limited supply it went to the highest bidder first, which again was the US. We paid for it twice . I think that kind of thing should not be patented, we the people paid for the research and development, and the pharma companies got all the profits. If other companies and countries were allowed to manufacture the vaccines, we would have squashed COVID much faster.
I put it on S3 Glacier. It’s really really cheap to store. $1/TB. But I also have multiple copies locally
And this is why I backup all the torrents I download. If I lose the drive, they might not be seeded anymore and I won’t be able to re-download everything. There’s stuff in my collection that was hard to find 5 years ago.
I would argue the opposite, in that monetary compensation enables the creator to put in the time and effort required to make a product with high quality. Without monetary support in a capitalist system, they are forced to spend their time doing other meaningless work to eat, and can’t spend the time they want on the project their passionate about.
Looking at the current state of Hollywood, the drive to make a profit is actually ruining movies for me in the past 5 years. Full of bad writing and old remakes of remakes trying to get money from old IP. Nothing new or original has been written for some time and it’s getting old.
Facebook has an official.onion domain and it’s the only way I access it, as it’s required for my employer.
I’ve had Girls Aloud in my rotation recently. Their songs are just fun and really catchy. Also have The Veronicas, Brittany Spears, Taylor Swift etc…
