You know people can harass women or be dicks to their coworkers/subordinates and not be transphobic, right? Also, as of 2022, about 65 people work at Linus tech tips. Saying “Everyone was cool with it and endorsed it” is a bit of a broad statement to make.
I last used a chromium based browser more than 5 years ago. Recently I bought myself a tablet and had to make the difficult decision to switch to the kiwi browser there just because Mozilla can’t be bothered to include tabs for their tablet layout.
I wasn’t the one writing the comment.
I totally agree with what you’re saying. Also, I think UpperCamelCase is called Pascal case.
They were talking about the reviews featured in the article. Did you read it?
And it does judder free 24 fps playback on a 60hz screen?
Edit: also, what model is it? The Galaxy Tab S5e?
I really want an android tablet with lineageos support for watching movies and browsing the web. But I have been spoiled by my OLED TV so I think LCD just won’t cut it. Also, I would ideally want a 120hz display so that movies can be played back without 3:2 pulldown. I don’t believe such a device exists ATM?
I don’t agree with this. People have different abilities/talents that mean that certain things are in fact easier for some than for others. By thinking that everything is just hard work, people may work themselves to death trying to achieve proficiency in an area that they just aren’t particularly suited for.
At the gym the rowing machines were always my least hated cardio machine. The exercise bikes there don’t do cycling any justice because you obviously don’t get a sense of speed
Yeah it’s a new EU rule. I can’t find that info on amazon though, maybe they still have time to implement it?
Have you tried cycling for cardio? I used to be just like you but riding a bike fast is such an enjoyable experience to me that I forget I am doing cardio in the first place.
I was going to say the same thing. With cycling, you get an immediate reward for your spent effort because riding fast just feels really fun. So I find myself wanting to put as much energy in as possible.
How old are you? When I studied in Scotland 2016-2020, the preferred messaging app was messenger (i.e. facebook), and I’m curious whether that has changed in the last 3 years or whether it’s a different demographic.
Didn’t you have English classes at school? I have also significantly improved my English through English media such as reddit, youtube, movies, books etc. But I don’t know if I would have been able to do that without learning basic English at school.
Spotify also has podcasts built in
The need for decentralised identities stems from the same problem you are describing in your second paragraph. A decentralised identity would imply that your content will also stay if the instance goes down. I don’t really know however if there is a feasible way to implement this. An easier solution to me seems to be to enable account backups that can be used to recreate your account on a different instance.
To be fair, you’re the one to blame for blindly trusting an AI.
If you watch YouTube videos on a small smartphone screen, sure, the bitrate does not matter that much. But whenever I watch it on my 55" 4k TV I cringe every time the image gets a bit busy and suddenly there are blocking artifacts everywhere
Can the term potency also be used to refer to the exponent in English? Because that is what is meant by the terms in the other languages and I haven’t come across that usage of the word potency in English
