I saw the other comments, BTRFS appears to work fine, I wouldn’t use it because it is unfinished (there are some features not ready according to the status page) but I guess it is stable.

What do you mean splitting the disk? I just recently removed windows, moved and resized both boot and primary partition to take over all the space, now it is a pure Ext4 disk. I would not use BTRFS for your use case but that is up to you.

It’s not in the mainline, you need to either install the cachyos repo or compile the kernel with patches.

You do need a kernel with the sched-ext kernel option. Trying to install it right now.

It appears you can change the scheduler on the fly so I will definitely try it. There are more schedulers available as well.

There’s a comment in the article that says you can improve performance drastically, hard to believe but we will see.

You are “subjectively right” but you are also “objectively wrong”.

A clear reason is that Aim Assist was implemented to make the player have fun. K&M do not need this support because you can aim very accurately without previous training.

The barrier of entry, as you call it, is reduced artificially for the controller.

But alas, do what is fun for you. There is nothing to prove to anyone in single player games. I play third person (Souls games) games with controller and FPS (Cyberpunk mainly) with k&m.

This will just create new competition for them. I have been watching anime for several years and never once had to go through opensubtitles. Most releases now have the subtitles integrated so what is the value they bring to the whole thing?
