I really miss the community in r/woodstoving
And the backcountry and xcdownhill communities
I miss the crew from r/woodstoving. It’s about the time of year to be posting our wood stacks and testing the moisture content and commenting about cooler nights making us think about firing up the ole stove!
I found that a second set of rims and a splurge on an impact wrench paid for themselves in about 2 years.
Saves a ton over the life of the vehicle!
Our heater is set to 60F in the winter.
If i want it warmer than that (usually) it’s up to me to keep the wood stove fired and fed!
We became much better at doing that during covid. We all have enough stress already, we don’t need to take yours too!
RIP.
There are dozens of us… Dozens!!
I’m pretty sure I thought whistling diesel and cleetus mcfarland were the same person…
