Waking up in the post-op recovery area after having my gallbladder removed. Immediate intense pain so sharp I couldn’t breathe. The nurse asked me if I was in pain and i couldn’t speak I had to just nod vigorously, panic setting in.
Morphine kicked in and I was out cold again.
I’ve been there a few times doing research for building a new PC. Other than that I’ve kept away and don’t really miss it. Unfortunately I’ll probably need to go back there for other types of research because it’s a huge repository of information now and is the fastest way to find such things. But the moment I have the info I needed I leave.
Some that immediately pop into my head:
Krampus. It’s mildly scary but the audio and atmosphere is phenomenal.
Trailer Park of Terror. Just sit back, drink a couple of beers, and enjoy this B-rated movie in all it’s glory.
Slither. Horror comedy that’s great for people who don’t like a ton of scary but don’t mind blood and gore.
Tucker and Dale versus evil. A comedy with a unique perspective to the horror genre. A must watch!
