Photographing or filming someone in a public space has always been very legally distinct from recording a private conversation in pretty much every jurisdiction.

From what I understand EU law is pretty strict on the fact that they must obtain permission first. That may vary by country though.

Where do you live? Recording a private conversation without permission is a felony in two party states in the US. Meaning both parties most consent to the recording.

You may also have a recourse through YouTube’s reporting system.

The US is a shit hole and PR has no support from the mainland while also having to be an island in hurricane Alley. It’s not worth it. Sometimes there are local resources for learning the craft of resumes and interviews. Sometimes they are also free. Check with your local library, the local community college, the local social services. I would also seek counseling and medication for the anxiety. Don’t let that stuff be an excuse to hold you back. Sacrifice some money and free time now and you’ll make a lot more money later. I know this is all easier said than done, but it’s worth doing.
