For me that’s not how it works. there is no way to escape mouse. People use Jira, Figma, Charles, lots of different software that just doesn’t have support for Vim like keys.
Vim is good at editing a single file at a time. In my case I do like 95% reading and 5% editing. Most of the time there are bugs to fix, in a day I might read 20-30 files and change 5 lines in 5 different files.
now add one more detail. None of my coworkers know Vim so when I ask for help I need to make sure I turn Vim shortcuts otherwise they won’t be able to help.
you can go on GitHub on any repo and press
.
you will get vscode in your browser. Did same with my server and after that I just never want to look at Vim. If I have to use cli then I will installmicro
editor

Even if food is free who is going to keep or ship it to someone who needs it? and how do you reward them?
I feel like most of the comments here are written by people who have never worked full time job and don’t know how hard it is. Most likely bunch of kids.

There was this one case with Red Alert where it would disconnect random times, but I never played official vesion so who knows maybe it would be same.
Steam games also work but you need to wait until they get hacked.
Take a look at online-fix.me website. Their games always worked cor me and my friends, just register on it, otherwise they dont show download links

it looks like only way is to somehow imitate their API and change those links in the car. I think it would be cool to selfhost such server.

shalva97@lemmy.worldto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•As an adult, what seemingly childish things do you get excited about?2·2 年前I have sold hundreds of PC parts for about 2 years. Customers are polite all the time, I know it is unexpected but that’s how it is, I have never had any nasty encounters.
I had fears about them running away, but this also never happened. Regarding defects, there was few occasions where the next day they called me and asked for replacement. Usually I sell SSDs, so out of about 100 of them I got back 5. when I retested them 2 of them was working and I sold them again :D 3 dead SSDs are laying on the shelf, not sure what to do with them…

Random people call me, I meet them, they buy some random PC parts and it just feels nice.
