I had one (more than one actually) as it could store soooo much more data than a floppy disk and I needed it to move data (and pirated software) around. At work we had magneto-optic drives with a whopping 240 megs of data, IIRC

That could be simple to fix. I bought a used SL-1500 which had the issue that it’d only spin at 33rpm. 45rpm didn’t work. I opened it up and with some tuner spray I washed the switch (spraying it, switching it back and forth). Now as good as new. These things are built like tanks
Any tips for indexers that have German media that you are willing/able to share?
You will also need a good indexer. Ideally one that can be integrated into your nzb downloader and your media system. I’m using nzbget together with sonarr for TV series and a few indexers
