How about we shift to talking about portion control and be less all or nothing?

Peaking Lights - 936

Man, my only fear would be regarding any suffering involved in this ending and my relief would be that the whole humanity thing is ending

ngl, having my toes sucked sounds good rn

I’m with you in missing that brief era where we could just be truly social online and it felt like a healthy extension of real life dynamics

It’s interesting to notice how potent the stigma is around the topic. Like, I feel that I should be creating an alt account just to ask a question on here to avoid association with the topic…

A few things come to mind:

Is this something that you experience urges around? If so, what outlet do you provide them? Are there certain mediums like written stories or hentai that you find acceptable?

I notice that for all the disgust expressed around pedophilia, there is also rather rampant sexualization of children and teens. Not just in hentai but in, say, beauty pageants — and now, apparently, via AI imagery — occurring across many nations/cultures. Curious what you make of this.

What is the endgame of pedophilia? Like, even if it were permissible, what would you be seeking? How do you reconcile with the reality that a kid will age out of the zone to which you are attracted? I guess: is it something that is more about the fantasy? Is there a sexual component, or is it a sort of a Michael Jackson thing, where you prefer their company?

Finally, just want to mention that there are often low fee options for therapy. They might be with a pre-licensed person, but the quality of treatment is dependent on the match with the therapist anyhow. No idea how you’d find someone willing to work with you but, given you don’t report having acted on any urges, your information remains confidential and you can shop around until you find someone who is willing to do so.

You’re conflating a natural phenomenon, anger, with maladaptive expressions of it. Name-calling is not owning your anger; it’s disowning it

Dude, humans use their hands. What I understand now is that we should basically flap a hand back and forth behind our ass crack as we defecate

Huh. We’ve all been doing it wrong all along

How does Kobo work? Do you get to download files, or only access via some app?

What are examples of decent acoustic guitars to look for used?

Dang. Is this brought to us from the same people who believe washing your asscrack makes you gay?

Nice, thank you. This was the piece I was curious about!

This would only search one instance, is that right?

Thank you for this comprehensive answer. It brought up some new considerations, but that’s a good thing — like learning about Wayland, switching to/from use of gpu (which I didn’t even know was a thing), and Pop_OS moving away from gnome. I appreciate that you took the time to write this full answer!

Between Mint and Pop_OS: recommendation for how to pick between them?

Coming from MacOS, haven’t used Windows in a number of years.
If it would make a difference it’s for a Lenovo Legion Slim 5 (Ryzen 7 7840HS; NVIDIA RTX 4060).
I want to dual boot, using the Windows side for gaming, for now, and Linux for other tasks.

Hoping to hear feedback from anyone who has owned one

At least in the West,. Christianity played a part in that.

Things like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy have been changing that though

Alternate question: how can we find interesting discussions on IRC?

Is it still like a regular puzzle? Like the same skill set?
