Crazy prices for movies and software like Photoshop. I’m still subscribed to YT Music, but I have to pirate music as silly wars between labels and artists result in music being removed from streaming services from time to time. For the same reason I don’t want to buy movies online - we don’t own shit.

I don’t think that Proton sells my data to advertisers or trains AI using my emails and documents. As of laws, unfortunately any service in any reputable country has to obey them. You can always buy a server in some banana republic and set up an email service there, but even then there are some risks.

If only there weren’t trying to make YouTube less usable. Currently if I listen to podcasts on YT and take a break, in a few hours it can completely forget that I was watching it, it’ll be gone from my watch history. This is so frustrating with 2-3 hours long videos.

Nothing has changed since then it seems. I constantly read comments with similar sentiment towards rich people here.

Last time I checked, even most IT jobs required you to speak German. I’m not saying this is unreasonable in Germany, but I think it might make it harder to attract a fuckton of people.
