Its been a problem for a very long time now, electric cars require large amounts of electricity to charge and that needs to be supplied through the residential grid. Higher use of electric cars means more electricity necessary. Electric cars usage is still going up and that is not likely to change soon. As for the more important part: Lots of power plants are not green, and replacing them means building more power generators. This device converts heat to (green) electricity. How could you possibly see this as a negative?

…and electric cars. And green energy.

There is an experimental version floating around that does run on linux through the very new android translation layer. Very buggy though currently. Its in flathub.

wow thats realy cool, I didnt know that was possible, how does neuralnet tell the game where youre looking? is it like joystick/gamepad input or does the game have VR support and youre forcing it on somehow?

I had my last nvidia card a long time ago, but from what I remember, you download it off their website, put it on a stick, and then execute it, its a binary. Try different (older) versions too, and try to force x11 like I said, to see if it has to do with wayland
edit: as in, you just install an older version through binary installer
edit edit: im sorry, im out of time, good luck! if x11 and framebuffer graphics dont work either (and maybe mpv with vo=drm and other vo= options is a great way to try stuff) and older versions dont work either, and no luck with nouvau, then im out of ideas!

Do I get that right, you do manage to install it and then it does this? If so, try installing Nvidia drivers per hand, and try various versions, nvidia drivers are usually the culprit and they keep releasing faulty driver versions
edit: how does it look when you boot with x11 or with software rendering?

In that reddit thread, they dont seem all too happy about that converter either, lots of people mention that it doesnt work correctly for them, so maybe your exact setup just isnt compatible with it?
The other part of the comic:

Sounds good. Does anyone have any experiences using VSTs on linux?

Thanks Airbus chair(?)

I remember previous outbursts from facepunch. This has nothing to do with anti-cheat, they have been staunchly anti linux for some time now. They have floated the idea of removing linux support for garrys mod for years.

I must disagree, the one on the right looks like these, which are amazing.

this is awesome! I appreciate all the work that CodeWeavers do to make CrossOver and in turn wine so amazing, and I hope they get some more customers because of it :)

Ah I see. Sorry for the assumption then.

Fair enough. That comment about advertising the carnivore community to maga.place on the now deleted post promoting the community unsettled me enough to write this.

Wait, arent you the same person that made that “Carnivore Kitchen” community? Are you trying to play both sides?
And also, theres a lot of vegan communities already, whats your reason for making another one?
!vegan@lemmy.world !vegan@lemmy.ml !veganrecipes@sh.itjust.works !vegan@slrpnk.net
And whats up with the LLM use? The emojis in every paragraph, the AI generated logo and banner, etc.?

They have since posted 2 more videos about the aptera, here is the newest one TLDW: that line of credit is not going to save them.
True, and im not a fan of a lot of these regulations they are getting rid of, for example the lane and drowsy driver detection, which tend to malfunction more often than they work.
Ive heard too many stories of cars just randomly making an emergency full stop on the motorway against the drivers will, because a sensor detected a leaf or something.
