I think you confused football with Amerixan football. It is referring to what you would call soccer.

Firefox + ublock still works perfectly fine for me.
Not really true. UK definitely has a history of under-insulation compared to other European countries with similar climates (like Denmark for example).
I don’t really understand what it is about HMMIII you don’t get. It is a relatively simple game concept, and the fundamentals has remained largely unchanged from iteration to iteration. I personally prefer III over most of the later ones exactly because of its simplicity (and none of those ugly 3D graphics).
For me what mostly antiquates a game is if it was primarily based on graphics which have been outdated, otherwise I don’t really have a problem even with much older games. But then again I also grew up playing games in the 80s, so I have been used to those my entire life. Some of the games which fascinated me on account of the complexity, like the early Ultima games (at least I and II), doesn’t exactly stand revisits, because they were very barebones compared to the later games in the franchise. Ultima V still holds up beautifully, simply because it is so complex behind those primitive graphics.
Russia doesn’t pay people for that sort of thing, especially not a person like Musk. Instead they extort. Possibly over rare materials.
Anyway I don’t think Russia was part of Musks takeover of twitter, that stemmed from Musks own arrogant stupidity, but they certainly did become one afterwards.
There is not a lot to laugh about with flat earthers. The theory stems from Christian fundamentalism, and it is tightly connected to the christofascist movements trying to coup the USA at the moment.
And no, they are not going to give up their beliefs, because they didn’t come by them through rational thought, so rational thought isn’t going to disprove it for them.
Apparently it is a popular American myth.
Kenshi. Unlimited replayability and modability.
Even basic email providers knows to automatically place this kind of scam nonsense in the spamfolder. Why is it proliferated here?
It may not make sense because English isn’t a language designed to make sense; it isn’t even designed.
To be fair, no living language is.
You should never trust the word on the street, it is prone to lying.
It seems like you are mainly criticising fans (perhaps imaginary fans) rather than the show itself. I do agree that the later seasons are just not as good as the first ones, and personally I have little interest in the newest season, it never should have been revived in my opinion, it is just going to end up like the Simpsons.
I will gladly rewatch old episodes though, and no, not because I think it predicts anything, but because it is damn funny.
such as with its views on theology and politics which are trademark 90’s views.
You are getting me curious. Could you give some examples of what trademark 90’s views on theology and politics are?
Exactly my impression as well.
I feel you. They got these bots posting results of games or whatever to each and every sports team community. But it is not one bot doing that, no that would be too easy because you could just block that, each and every sports team community got its own specifically named bot posting the exact same things.
Really messes a lot with the all/new feed.
Yeah, I think OP is asking strictly from a US perspective (although being USdefaultist by not specifying it), because I can’t really think of any large European city which doesn’t have realitve large parks in the city center or next to it.
But you do realise that this particular scenario is her not being respectful of your politics, right?
Lots of cringeworthy American exceptionalism and nationalism in that thread. I especially like this one:
It doesn’t, all of these countries have different definitions on what “Rights” are, most of their constitutions don’t even define a right in the context of a divine power as the United States does, most countries actually believe its the government’s job to assign what rights its people are allowed.
It takes an impressive amount of baseless self confidence to speak with such certainty, yet with such ignorance, not only about other countries but your own country as well.
Hippies were a small minority. They were just covered a lot by the media, but people seem to forget that Nixon won his re-election by a landslide.
Try and follow your own train of thoughts for a little longer. Perhaps by asking yourself why that political party would be “effectively barred”? It wouldn’t be because it would be banned but simply because it would exist in a system where popular representation was the foundation. So because people didn’t support and vote for them they would no longer be holding power. That is a good thing and literally the opposite of fascism.
The irony is thick indeed, but it was not in their comment.
Who is saying anything about hypocrisy? This is about the guy feeling the consequences for his shitty policies.
