I am going to treat myself to some charcuterie soon, probably ordering from Caputo’s. Would love your recommendations for your favorite meats and cheeses.

I really like Red Dragon cheese. It’s neat! Mustard seed and ale cheese.
Those are just my personal takes, but:
- cheeses - Emmenthal, gorgonzola, brie, provolone. The idea here is that they’re all extremely different from each other, so it’s fun to eat them in sequence.
- meats - smoked ham, coppa, and/or a traditional salami; sliced as thinly as possible. Some cubes of head cheese are also nice.
- spreads - chicken liver pate, caponata or babaganoush, hummus.
- others - slice apples and bananas, olives, pickles, toasts. Fruits combo well with the cheeses, toasts for the spreads, and the other two are nice. (Note you’ll need a bit of lime juice on the apple slices to avoid browning.)
