Their recipe for Cornish pasties has done me well, although my filling is always “things I have on hand”!

Any high quality brand will probably do you well. King Arthur is what I can get easily and have used it for decades. Also it’s employee owned, last I knew, which makes me feel a smidge better.

Also their online recipes are pretty nice, and they answer questions!

Other people have said better things, but I’ve found flour to be important in baking. Generic store brands can work mostly, but for more precise and nicer baking I’ve got to go with King Arthur flour

I love turkey, but I’ve never had a turkey come out dry. Mother brines hers, I just baste it and mine is also nice.

Cranberry sauce is delicious but I home can that in advance, cranberry orange thing. Very tasty.

Overall I’d probably pick chicken being easier to cook, but the turkey is not bad and oh man cold turkey sandwiches later are just easy lazy meals for me.

Because cats are all little babies and I love every single one! I understand it could get annoying if one was only accepting of cats instead of adoring.

The surgery that gutted her like a fishie from stem to stern and then the two weeks of delicate care for her. She decided to grow things inside herself (not cancerous, luckily) but still, you know. Bad.

Mother herself has a medically delicate cat, who is actually staying over currently so I can take care of her medical needs while the cat yells at me about how I’m not perfect. But I’m okay at taking care of her. So I get the honor of doing whatever the cat wants, immediately.

Local place is the best here. I’m not sure why a chain would try in NJ with our amazing totally better than NYC pizza.

Sometimes I get coupons for domino’s so I’ll get them, but honestly the local place is the best. The very best local place closed during covid, so the other local place is one now (there are three other local places for pizza, but they pretty blah). I miss your, pizza place that was probably a front, you had the best Greek pizza ever.
