Yup, unlike the authentic Japanese 7-11 sandwiches, they didn’t cut the crusts off.
Gas station egg salad sandwiches. That exists.
7-11 internationally is nothing like it is in the US. Actually, convenience stores in general are very different. The food isn’t inherently terrible, it’s usually decent.
It will be interesting to see if they can shift some of that by bringing in some of that expertise.
