9: the Card Queen basically requires an online guide
Oh, I don’t even touch Card Queen. I love triple triad, but I’m not about all that back and forth. Hell, Shumi Village is barely even fractionally as bad, and I skip it on replays.
I didn’t really like how chocobos were handled in 7, 8, or 9, to be honest. I didn’t really enjoy any of the forced inclusion. V, Tactics, X, XII, XV, XVI all did it better.
But I’ll do you one better. The lack of Moogles is noticed (mini-mog from the pocketstation doesn’t count). In fact, my favorite 2 Final Fantasy games don’t have them. FFVIII and FFX.
