Nope. People fit into the boxes cause we made the boxes. Wanting to be in a different box is a valid response to the boxes. But we should work to dismantle the boxes so people can choose for themselves. Attacking those who want to switch boxes won’t remove the boxes.

People fit where they fit, and when boxes are present they will tend towards the most applicable ones. Even in a genderless society I’d’ve pursued hormones and surgery. And any genderless society that isn’t ok with that is worse to me than a gendered society that is.
That’s fair. Well said. Def shouldn’t attack anyone. Everyone should have the right to be however they want if it doesn’t hurt others. I just wish there was more effort being put into getting rid of those boxes. I worry that some of the socially progressive efforts now are actually reinforcing them.
is that brand of drink associated with that viewpoint? I’ve only ever seen it at the bouldering gym and that’s the most inclusive place in my town.
