We have two god damn left parties and they keep splitting everything, that’s how this happens. At some point I was hoping they could sit down and agree before an election to just drop candidates in ridings where the other was favoured and try to get enough votes to form a coalition.

You just wait for him to get into fed politics. You’re looking at your future PC (after the reformacons split) prime minister.

Is it bad that I would prefer him over PP?

Not that I’m ever likely to vote for a conservative party but still PP is so fucking bad for Canada and I hate that he’s positioned where he is

This is between you and Satan, I won’t judge. 😆

Joke aside, yeah, I’d vote Ford over PP too, if those are the only viable options. Ford is just corrupt, resource-wasting (tons of money for nothing) guy that does some alright things and is very likeable. PP is a right-wind ideologue that will transform Canada into a more capitalist, more neoliberal, more unequal, less democratic place. I guess I also have to talk to Satan.
