a “rhyming scheme” is a real thing.
I think if it had been RHYMING, then I might have twigged… After I posted I did a search and now get it. Probably not heard the term since primary school (which was a while ago!)

The way different kinds of poems rhyme, like for example every other line or only the end of the paragraph. But haven’t bothered with that since elementary school.
