You’re right; the kit should be red with a white cross.
My understanding is they’re supposed to be green, although ten minutes of web searches didn’t turn up any specific reason for this. If it is, it’s part of either BS 8599 or the HSE standard, and it’s far too early in the day to be reading through standards documents just to prove a point!
(Edit: I realise this is from a UK standpoint… may have misread “NUS” in the OP as “NHS”)

If you remove the rubber gloves and face mask it probably gets more so.
These are looking great, but in the 4th scene it feels to me like the right hand has a thumb in the wrong place.
