Poor guy and poor gator. I love the video of them going around town and interacting with people. Wally really was docile, even around small pets and children. I recall reading that he was rescued and in bad shape before, so I always assumed he suffered from some kind of brain damage that made him that way, because alligators really shouldn’t be that harmless.
A well-fed and full alligator is basically a log. They’re not really interested in doing anything at all until they digest most of their food. Then they go back into bloodthirsty murder mode until they’re fed again.
