I didn’t. Reddit mods going outside? Very unlikely in my opinion. Maybe this guy is an outlier. 🤔

Yeah, and I’d argue that the door dash sub probably isn’t related to him allegedly planning this attack.

I’ll wait for more reporting from credible sources on these subjects.

Until then, historically it’d be safest to assume that is just yet another FBI entrapment scheme of a low IQ or otherwise vulnerable individual done to boost the profile of these agents and the FBI more generally, which is their MO.

The FBI has done this under every administration post 9/11.

But yes, this version of the FBI has managed to be even less trustworthy.

Haven’t they done this since their founding?

I’m talking specifically about their strategy of using technology to target and entrap disaffected low IQ males, radicalize them, and then swoop in to “prevent” their supposed acts of terrorism.

The FBI’s sins our too many to count, but I’m talking about this one specific post 9/11 phenomena.

Planning without real intent isn’t really against the law, and this sounds like another case where undercover informants talked them into it and helped provide plans\materials, etc

Idk what you’re reading. Because everything in this article is that someone else who he was talking to online tipped the FBI off, so they started just following his posts talking about it.

They didn’t interact with him until the arrest.

Which would be a crazy leap from the available information.

I guess I’m an FBI plant. I’ve made a few online tips to them linking to Reddit profiles that have made similar threats.
