Slops are a great hope, since they can prove a concept with a low budget ; and budget is usually that creators miss the most.
Slops can be made without the validation of some majors, and even if they don’t match the market. So without being retouched by marketing people into becoming a tasteless thing.
That doesn’t prevent slops to be mostly shit, but I wouldn’t be surprised at all if some new great things come from them…
