    Yeah, better quickly end the best Trek show since DS9. Wouldn’t want to maintain viewer engagement after all. That’s some sharp thinking, Paramount.

      Hey if they can end it on their terms that’s a plus in my book with Paramount in dire straights. We may lucky to get what we can get.

        And at least they aren’t being cut so fast that the last episode will come out as Riker playing on the holodeck just as the show was getting into the good stuff.

      Would it be better to drag it out past the point where it runs out of steam, audiences stop paying attention, and it falls so hard nobody does anything else with the Star Trek brand on TV for a decade or two?

    At least they have two whole seasons to wrap stuff up and know about the end ahead of time, unlike Lower Decks, which got the memo in the middle of season development.

    What if we made a show called…um, Star Trek: Legacy, continuing the adventures of a group of beloved characters! Nah, that would never work.
